Request an educational program

Requests for field trips for the 2026 winter/spring season will begin on January 7, 2026.

Field trips with an RDCO Park Interpreter can be booked at Mission Creek Regional Park, your school, or another Regional Park. Please note, this is a request only and the dates are not guaranteed. Once you have submitted your request, our staff will respond within 10 days to confirm if your field trip can be scheduled.

Winter/spring field trips are offered:
  January 27 to May 29 (field trips in April/May fill up fast, book early to secure your preferred date).
  
Note: Field trip bookings are not available on Mondays

Important details

  • Field trip topics/descriptions can be viewed at rdco.com/schoolprograms
  • Cost is $40 per group (a group is up to 25 participants or one class) at Mission Creek Regional Park or $50 per group for off-site programs.
  • Program length is one (1) hour
  • Multiple classes on one day can be requested; however, only one class per time slot can be accommodated

Thank you for submitting your field trip request. Please note that this is a request only and does not guarantee a confirmed booking. All bookings are dependent on staff availability.

Our team will aim to contact you via email within 7–10 days to confirm the details of your request. Once your field trip is confirmed, you will receive payment instructions along with additional information about your visit. If you do not hear back from us by then, please email us at eeco@rdco.com. Thank you for your patience.
